Curser Lost

Can you help I went to log off last week and a page appeared telling me I could get email on my Android phone,as I already had this option on my phone I ignored the message and logged off. Since then I have had no Curser and no access to my laptop
. I have tried disconnecting the laptop, holding power and home down at the same time neither work.Could you send me a step by step guide, if one exists to remedy this issue. Thanks in advance, Alan Lynn.

I probably have no answer for you, but I would like to ask a question or 2.........

1. Is your laptop a touch screen laptop ?

2. If no, it is not touch screen, are you saying you have no cursor using the touch pad, nor using a mouse ?
