Custom Screen Protector

My Band would be reaching me later this week (I am from India), but without the Zagg Screen Protector. Any suggestions of alternatives? Has anyone tried making a custom screen protector? Is the Zagg material like other phone screen protectors? I plan to buy one and cut it to size.

Just like all the others. Don't cover the light sensor on the left hand side of the display though.

I've actually read somewhere in these forums that someone used clear tape as a screen protector. Probably wouldn't last long, but it's cheap and would most likely offer more protection than one might think. I haven't tried it, so I don't know if it even works though.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will certainly try that. I have already ordered a screen protector from armorsuit but it would take 2 weeks for it to reach me. However, I hope it is better than ZAGG

I didn't get a screen protector with my band. Just a couple of days ago got a phone call that there is one waiting for me in the store. Meanwhile I just went to bestbuy and got the original Zagg for an old smartphone model which was on sale for like two bucks. It is not perfect but you have many tries to make it look good

I made my own from a Zagg protector for a Galaxy. Wasn't too difficult but I'm going for v2 as my first attempt was about 1mm too long.
Can't say I'm too keen on the band with the protector on, which is why I never put them on phones but guess it's a whole lot better than having a scratched band. Shame the band is so susceptible.

I used tape until I was able to get the screen protector. I got the free Zagg one that comes with the band, but the store didn't have any on day one.
