Cyan been updated plus 8.1 for my windows phone Lumia 520

Can someone help me because I don't know why I can't connect to gmail even if I go down in the email section and select other email when I put Gmail It says that there is an error synchronization an error all this happens when I update to cyan but if I select Gmail they say that I have to put server provider I don't know what I have to do
