Is anyone else understanding that the 920 is exclusive to AT&T alltogether? If so, I'm extremely dissapointed. WP needs verizon to get big
?Exclusive to our customers and featuring unique innovations in imaging technology, wireless charging and a bright, sensitive display ? all on the nation?s largest 4G network ? the Lumia 920 will be one of the hottest phones for the holidays,? said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president ? Devices and Developer Services, AT&T Mobility.
I wouldn't be surprised if AT&T had at least a small exclusivity window.
Elop mentioned that there was trouble getting carriers to promote the phones in the UK when there wasn't any exclusivity. Carriers will spend more ad dollars promoting a phone that only they have.
My guess is that AT&T has it exclusively for 3 months. They promote the heck of it it. Then Verizon gets it as the 922 with an extra exclusive color and maybe something else unique, like a 64 GB version.

Nokia Lumia 820 - Windows Phone with Wireless Charging - Nokia - USA
According to Nokia's website, they are both listed as AT&T exclusives. I'll be disappointed if this is true. I've already converted over 3 Verizon friends to the Lumia 920 hoping it would get released to their network. ugh.
I thought Nokia said that they weren't letting carriers but logos on the 920 & 820
