Data sense and battery saver not working?

Hello all

I thought that this will be fixed with updates but Ill guess it requires a hard reset to be fixed as I dont see anyone complaining about it.

Since like previos 4 builds I went to Win 10 and datasense and also batterysaver is not working (by battery saver I mean the stats that are showing which app drained how much battery) it all shows 0 even after days/weeks of usage.

Also I dont get notification for messaging on locksreen and live tile.

Anyone have similiar problem? Will HR resolve this?

Battery Saver and Data Use both work in my Lumia 1020 running Windows 10 Mobile build 10586. If I recall correctly, they also worked well in build 10581.

My Data Usage worked for a couple of days, then stopped on 10581. I'm not showing any progress as of yet with 10586. On this particular device, I upgraded to 10581 from 8.1, then upgraded to 10586. No hard resets have been done since 8.1.

Battery Saver shows the correct battery usage per app as expected.

Using Lumia 640 ATT GoPhone.

@gpobernardo, did you do a hard reset for either or both builds? (10581/10586)

Both seem to be working for me (took me a while to figure out where Data Sense was). It didn't keep the correct values though.

Hmm. None of them been working for me since I installed Win 10 so I guess HR is crucial here.

I wanted to avoid this but I guess I have no other option. Btw in last build MS mentioned some bug regarding hard resetting. Is it safe to hard reset from this build?

Nope, didn't do a hard reset. So far, I've succeeding in updating through the following routes:
Lumia 1020: Windows Phone 8.1 > Windows 10 Mobile build 10581 > Build 10586 - all without a hard reset
Lumia 535: Windows Phone 8.1 > Windows 10 Mobile build 10586 - also without a hard reset

That looks like a fine guide for a newbiees, which I am not.

I set it up long time ago not working, same goes for battery saver. So all I need to be answered now is if its safe to do HR from the latest build

I have noticed that the stats, in Battery Saver, are a bit strange. Says over 50% of my battery was used by Search!

Build 10581 is the one that caused file corruption on Hard Reset. Gabe Aul has stated that it is perfectly safe to do a Hard Reset in 10586 as that issue that caused the problems has been fixed.

Any luck? I have got exact same problem on L830 10586.107..Battery saver is good .. wifi is not reliable but worst thing is cellular data remains 0..

Same problem on L920 10586.107: battery saver seems to work (doesn't seem to spare battery or stop drain when engaged, I have to say) but Data Sense is not functional. Cellular data is always at zero. I've had this same issue since the very first insider build of W10M that I've installed almost an year ago.
