data sense report system app consumes too much data

my buddy told me this:
so, in data sense app, system app consumes too much data... problem is he does not know what is system refered too? what is eating his precious Mb? see pic for more info.

System is not an app. It is referring to the system components of the operating system.

Weird, mine only shows 16MB on celular and 35MB on Wifi.

Mine shows about 100mb... But what could eat so much data? Backup, updates?

Must be system updates.

Go to SETTINGS ----> PHONE UPDATE and uncheck "Automatically download updates if my data settings allow it"

And only click on "phone updates" while you're on WiFi...
