Data Sense when near limit

I noticed that Data Sense limits the cellular data usage when I'm nearing my limit (500 MB) even when "Restrict background data" setting is turned off
it's quite annoying for me and I hope Microsoft sort this one out

It probably does this to prevent users from exceeding their data limits and getting billed.

What do you mean by "limits" the cellular usage? The data sense "symbol" is showing when browsing?

If so, that means you have "automatic" option set for IE 11.

I know, but I meant to set it not to restrict me :/

no, not when browsing...
it's something to do with the notification etc.
anything that needs data usage in the background

How do you know its still restricting background data?

^because he doesnt get notifications if there is no wifi around, just disable the whole thing altogether or set your limit to 999999, havent had this problem though

yes, that's how I figured it out
and yeah, I'm setting it to unlimited at the moment

I hope someone at MSFT read this and sort this out on the next update
