Data sense?

Just got gdr2 on my ativ s in Canada, where do I find data sense?

It should be in the list of apps, If it not there some carriers haven't put it on with the update.

Nice! It seems that most (if not all) of the devices support it after the update.

I still havent't got Data Sense (I'm on GDR3 (build 8.0.10517.150). After a hard reset Data Sense wasn't enabled.
The provider doesn't block Data Sense (Ativ S is unlocked/unbranded). My wife is on the same provider with her Nokia 520 and she has Data Sense.

Got gdr2 4-5 months ago and data sense showed up after hard reset. Ativ s 899 unlocked Rogers branded on straight talk in the US

Maybe the reason I haven't got it is that I went from GDR1 to GDR3? I did on GDR3 a hard reset. But Data Sense didn't came up...

The updates contain all previous updates, and will download a previous uninstalled update if required

I haven't uninstalled any other update before updating to GDR3. Data Sense just don't came up after a hard reset.
My wife has Data Sense on her Nokia. We have the same provider, so the provider doesn't block Data Sense.

sorry what I meant was that any update that has not been installed should be downloaded and installed at the same time.

There were also firmware updates from Samsung between GDR1 and GDR2. GDR2 also had firmware updates. Maybe they are needed as well to get Data Sense.

Flashed my Phone back to GDR2 and updated to GDR3 Dev Preview. Now with Data Sense:smile:
