Dataexchane unified Apps

Hi

MS announced with WP8.1 the unified Apps. The idea of sharing the code between the plattforms is great. But as important is the data sync between the different Version. As far as I know On Windows 8 there was the dataroaming who would sync all the data between the devices. Is there something similar for the universal apps?

Developers have to re-code the app to make it work on both windows phone 8.1 and windows 8.1. And for data syncing Microsoft has one drive , many apps are taking advantage of it for example bing apps sync across devices and PC :smile:

Yes, use roamingdata, it will be synced across all supported os:es (WP 8.1, Win8).

I saw that there are some folders in the local storage who will be synced across all devieces. But now the next question: which database? SQL Lite is available in different version. For WP8 and W8. So now what to use for unified apps? As far as I know SQL CE is only available on WP and not on W8.
Or do I have to make a own database for each plattform?
