Really wish you could setup Datasense to reoccur every day without having to reprogram everyday for single usage.
But it seems Microsoft did not think about it this way when they designed it. You have option for Single Day, but, not reoccur, and you cannot set a limit for each day via Month either.
My plan allows 2.5gb(2560mb) of 4g Data a Month (T-Mobile 60 plan). To conserve my 4g data for the month. Because after I hit my limit 2g speeds are activated and tethering is limited.
So This is how to setup Datasense to only allow X amount of data a day.
Figure up your data allotment in MB divide by Billing Period (30 days usually) that is you allotment per day. For Me that is 85mb a day.
Select Restrict Background Data when I'm near my Limit. This will warn you when you go over your limit
Set Datasense to Limit Type- One Time,
Days until it expries - Select One Day,
Available Data - put in your MB per day (85 for me)
Hit check mark and it is saved
Pin DataSense to HomeScreen
Did I miss anything ?
