Just got a Titan (my first Windows Phone) and I'm trying to figure out how to get a display of the current date on my home screen up by the time. My old Crackberry (good ridance) shows the complete date (i.e.: day of week, month, date and year) on the home screen and I'm missing it. As a professional software developer, I'm embarrassed to be asking such a simple question but can this be done on Windows 7.5?

Nope, just the time top right on the home screen i'm afraid myidsucks.

Only place you get the date too is the lock screen.

Never be afraid to ask anything here, no matter how trivial it is. We're a friendly bunch really. :D

Thanks for the reply and the welcome.

I guess I could look into putting together a small app that just displays this info on its tile....

You're welcome. :)

There's no shortage of clock apps, but whether there's any that display the time and date on a live tile i can't say.

Calendar tile displays the date. Says "Thu 1" right now. Not very complete, but it's there.

Yeah, I keep the calendar at the bottom of my start screen so I always have the date there, along with where the **** I am supposed to be.

I just have calendar as the top tile on my homescreen.

Think I remember seeing a Calendar app that showed the current date on the front and current month on the back. Could be mistaken though.
