Hi,

not a hater, but a regrater :)

been using MS products since Windows 95

I nolonger game on an Xbox, I nolonger use their music store (they killed it), I nolonger use Windows 10 Mobile (they killed it), I am quickly moving away from MS office, and have only recently cancelled all of my hotmail / outlook accounts (yeah I had 4). Still currently use Windows 10 PC for my kids...but that is it.

I am nolonger a part of the MS eco system...

Today was the day...

I honestly wont be buying any future products from microsoft..

I just wanted to come and give my respects to the forum here.

In fact I wont be even visiting Windows Central in the future..why would I...

I have sadly moved away from the microsoft eco-system..I guess the final straw was Mobile..without mobile why even bother.. On android I tried to use MS products.... wasn't the same... even the music player was killed off for android... Edge is now for all purposes a clone of Google Chrome..

So I will have very found memories of some Microsoft products Win95, 98, Xp, 7, xbox, Xbox 360, zune, Windows Phone os, Cortana, outlook, office, skype, hotmail and groove...

Good bye....

I can understand why you would do this. I too have also moved on from Windows Phone (Android), Groove (Spotify), Edge (Chrome - reluctantly). But I still use Windows and Office. It seems that the times of MS making any mobile hardware or of having any sustainable product services may be long gone (outside of Xbox, Office, Windows & Surface).

Why make an exception for Xbox? You mean the Xbox that dropped the innovative Kinect system? The Xbox that I just updated the software and was informed I won't be able to use Cortana there anymore and I should use Alexa? That Xbox?

I'm afraid Microsoft has TOTALLY squandered their opportunity. There were so many good things that were wasted by Microsoft. For me, the biggest was Silverlight. I loved that platform. Oh well...

I still use Windows and Office and all MS apps on mobile. I also want back from Chrome to Edge Chromium too. So I haven't given up just yet!
