Debrand Lumia 520

I have an unlocked AT&T Lumia 520 and want to debrand it to a generic one. I'm new to WP, and I tried searching, but didn't find any helpful thread which has steps on doing so (There were few, but as a beginner I didn't find it easy to understand). So, can anyone please help me/guide me on this?
