December office update = broken office

Hmmm... updates corrupted office suite. When I click on Word or Excel, I get this message.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\oart.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

Outlook will open but I can't read any email. "Sorry, we're having trouble opening this item" error message.

Since there is no "install" entry, I cannot repair. I also tried to download the Office RT Fix It, which wouldn't work either. Error 0x80070002

Anyone know how to fix this?

Just fired up Excel after update to test and no issues here.
Maybe reinstall the update.

Just fired up Word to test...no issues either.

Yeah, lucky me. I see the exe files, but nothing that will install.

update: finished the refresh. I added the firmware first and then everything else loaded perfectly.
