Default calendar deletes past events?

I've seen where events I had 2 months ago are not showing up anymore. Is this.the default behavior of the calendar app?

I've had some OS's who would stop syncing calendars if its more than months old.

I don't see it ont the outlook website even.

They still show up on my wife's iPhone.

I was about to ask the same. I am looking for a way to get the past events back in my new 1520.3. They are still there in my Microsoft account calendar but they did not get restored to my phone as part of the restore when I moved from the 925. So in my case I don't say they were deleted but rather didn't get restored to a new phone. So if anyone knows how to get them back please post.
