Delete Multiple msg

Hi all,
I am using samsung focus for long time ,phone is good.But Suppose i have to delete multiple message then what is the solution for this?

Either delete the entire thread or go to the specific date that the messages occurred on using the jumplist in the History section of the Contact and, sadly, manually delete one by one
