Delete old contacts

Hello,
i have started using nokia 920, my father used it and then gave it to me.
i have transfered my contacts into 920..but the problem is my and my father contacts are mixed up now.
How do i remove my fathers contact.
and it would be nice if i could take backup of my fathers contact on my laptop. so how do i do it.

I don't know about backup, but I advice you to do a hard reset so that you can get the phone linked to your MS account instead of your dads, and that will remove all contacts and everything else on the device.

ok i will hard reset it, but how do i backup my settings and apps, i have deleted previous microsoft account of my father. i have created new one on my name, but now it 920 is stuck on old account , yikes what do i do ?

There is an option to back up to the cloud, and/or you can back up to your computer. After the hard reset, sign in to your new, not your old account-- When you sign into your current WindowsLive/Microsoft account and Facebook account, your contacts should re-load.
