Dell Venue 11 Pro page live on Dell website

I don't think I can hate the Dell website more, so the USA one only has the intel atom version and the British one only has the i3 version. I asked Dell customer services when the rest would be available and they said "soon". So so so annoying grrrrrrrrrrrr!

Ummm.. The USA has the atom, i3, and the i5 version available. I just checked. You have to go back and click New windows Tablets. They list all the versions individually instead of having the different processors as options. Though I thought there was supposed to be a Pentium and several i5 options. Which don't seem to be listed.

You are correct the 5 variants should be
Intel? Atom™ processor Z3770 (2MB Cache, up to 2.4GHz Quad-Core)
Intel? Pentium™ 3560Y processor (2MB Cache, 1.2 GHz Dual -Core)
Intel? Core™ i3 4020Y processor (3MB Cache, 1.5 GHz Dual -Core)
Intel? Core™ i5 4210Y processor (3MB Cache, 1.5 GHz Dual -Core)
Intel? Core™ i5 4300Y processor (3MB Cache, 1.6 GHz Dual -Core)

It's funny you look at that and atom has the faster clock speed and is the only quad core, just looks funny.

I just pre-orded mines on Amazon for $433.78 - $255 in Bing gift cards. So I got it for $178.78.

Does anyone know the thickness and weight of this tablet...I am wanting the bay trail version. It looks like it has everything I need (even if the design is not as nice as some other options), but the thickness and weight of the device is a primary concern for me. I would not want a tablet that weighs more than 1.5lbs and I can't seem to find these measurements anywhere.

Dell Venue 11 Pro - Full tablet specifications (Bay trail).

It's 1.60 pounds. Not really much more than 1.5
280 x 177 x 10.2 mm

1.6 isn't too bad. Little disappointed in the thickness too though. I'm bummed that no one is making a 10" windows tablet with good design, stylus support, and full hd all in one for the low to mid range buyer. I feel like I have to spend $700 or more before I can get all 3 in one device. In the $300-$500 price range all the devices have are missing one of the key things I am looking for. Honestly I don't even mind if the device is running rt if it has a nice build, full hd, and stylus support, but this doesn't exist. So close yet so far away.....

is there a fan in the bay trail variant?

i think its a given in the Core one's right?

what do you think of the build quality? Does it feel / look premium? Does it seem thin /light?

Build quality is good - it's not Surface Pro good IMO though. Historically I have not liked Dell laptops because they feel very cheap, use too much plastic, flexes too much, and well, they age for $hit. The Venue 11 doesn't have that feeling to me since the front is pretty much all glass. The plastic back is a little cheap feeling but not bad since it's feels a bit more like rubber. It's something I don't mind for the trade off of it being thinner than a SP2 and having a removable battery (yes!). It still feels "heavy" compared to my Nexus 7 but that's not a fair comparison since the tablets are different sizes. Unfortunately I don't have any accessories right now so it's hard to realize the full potential.

Edit: just read about the sylus problems that the Dell's are having. I may need to return it if its going to be problematic.
