Denim reduced battery life on my 930

Hi all,

I am wondering if anybody else has a problem with the battery life after updating to denim.

It seems that I can watch the battery run down. In Batter Safer the IE is the largest consumer of the battery charge.

In case you have any tips, I appreciate your help.

Slightly OT, my 1520 lost it's invincible battery the other day, for a few days I was only getting under 24 hours instead of well over 48, then I remembered I had turned off the screen time out :smile:

Back to normal now.

I'm having great battery life with Denim, after waiting about 2 days and 2 recharges for the OS to settle in.

Disable location services, if you do not rely on Cortana. Put screen brightness to "low" and automatic and also set the brightness down in the "display" settings.

I think the IE history clearing worked to some extend. I also reduced the screen brightness. Battery life is much better again. Thanks for your help.
