Denim update official on my Lumia 830

The denim update is present on my Lumia 830 received Friday from ATT mobile insurance. I think it's brand new. Here are some screen caps.

OS version is 8.10.14176.243

I asked in another thread, but I'll ask again. What should I notice in this update? I came from a Lumia 635 and 1020 that both ran wp8.1. I enjoy the Lumia and windows phone very much and haven't really noticed anything yet..

The 830 ships with Denim preinstalled

Edit: it mainly brings camera improvements. The camera app is now named Lumia camera and supposedly has a faster loading time when opening the camera.
Also 4k recording and HDR are supposed to be part of that update, but only if your hardware can support it, otherwise the main improvements will be renewed camera algorithms..

Interesting. I knew it was preinstalled but thought updates for everyone else would be rolling out. Why wait?

Also, I cannot confirm that I have this new "Lumia Camera", as my applications list still shows Nokia Camera and Microsoft Camera. Not sure why the Lumia Camera is not there since I have the Denim. I checked for updates and it shows I have the latest. Wouldn't Lumia Camera come preinstalled? It didn't on mine. Also searched in the app store, but there was nothing.

One thing I noticed which is pretty cool is that you can now add folders to the home start screen. I have stuff like my settings (wifi, BT, flashlight) all in a folder on the start screen. It's pretty cool.

thank you for your enthusiasm but the folder thing is part of Update 1. Old news for PfD users
Also: The "new" Lumia Camera, version 5 to be precisely, is not pre-loaded on the 830. Sadly you have to wait like the people with "old" phones for this update

And for Lumia 930 user group - which I belong to - that was already updated to WP8.1 Update 1 outside PfD program

Funny, I never noticed that. Oh well. Yes excitement anyways. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for the Lumia camera, this 10mp is sufficient with the apps on there already.

Hahah I like this guy!! Don't worry, these things might be old for most of us, but... it's good to see that there are users who still enjoy WP and its innovations Lately we've been getting too many negative threads... freedom of speech huh lol
