Its between the dock and current RF. Dont want to take a bulky keyboard. Without screen cost is reduced but still has RF battery which is so useful.
Screens can be found in office or hotel etc. The dock fits some scenarios for sure.
Separating the two is not for me. If I'm on the road and using Redfly then I need screen and keyboard together. If I'm in a hotel room and want/need bigger screen I'll have my laptop, or I could plug the RedFly into tv - not sure I could give a rat's bottom about ever seeing 800x480 screen at 42 inches though
i dont understand the reasoning behind this, isnt this pretty much any old bluetooth keyboard? the only difference i see would be that is has a battery? maybe give the redfly the ability to connect via bluetooth to a device and use the keyboard from the redfly without the screen?
