It seems like Xbox learned from previous years and wants to focus the Dev Direct on games dropping before the Xbox Games Showcase in June, so I hope the surprise reveal is a game right around the corner. Of course I also have to hope that all three games get release dates for the first half of 2025. Also glad Avowed isn't taking up a spot as we know way more than enough about it.

The new rumor that popped todays says as much.

More, it claims XBOX has a dozen releases in line for 2025 and five will be dated in the showcase. The rest will be featured in the june showcase for the second half of the year.

If that rumor is even vaguely true, they will be carpetbombing the market since most of the games, though not all, will be multiplatform, including Switch 2.

The split looks to be 4 exclusives, 8 multiplat.

Yeah, XBOX has no games.
