Difference with a MVNO to post paid Verizon?

I am currently using PP Verizon mvno with my icon. Just wondering if I will have a better experience with the way the phone works for calling, call logging, messaging, voice mail, or anything else if I go back on my family plan that I exited before getting this phone.

So if anyone has used the Icon with a prepaid mvno and also on full post paid Verizon...I would love to hear your opinions about any differences besides faster data.
