Different levels of blacks between Microsoft apps on Duo

Hello all,
Recently purchased a Duo. One thing I noticed is that the color levels of black are not consistent across apps.
Black levels are much deeper in Microsoft Calendar & Outlook than they are in the Microsoft To Do app.
Anyone have an idea why?

Maybe in ToDo the black isn't designed to be black but a deep grey? That's my guess. Probably different development teams sorta like in Win10 the animation present when going to alphabet view in the start menu isn't present in Groove when doing the same action.

Hmm maybe. Definitely jarring when moving from one app to the next.
