Disable image stabilization?

Quick question!

Anyone know how to disable the image stabilization? It's a beautiful feature that works extremely well, however I wouldn't mind disabling it for certain pictures, and definitely when recording videos!

I can't find anything on the interwebs or the g00glez.

Quick answer: you can't.

Largely because trying to make something stop from moving on ball bearings is practically impossible.

I would like to turn it off too. VIDEO STABILIZATION IS HORRIBLE. Better shaking everything than pieces.
