Disable modern app title bar and reverse the right click on start screen back to vanilla 8.1?

Just found out that the latest version of Stardock's ModernMix has an option to disable the title bar. Works great. I don't care much for the other options, so I just turned everything else off. Modern apps in window mode looks like crap. Full screen all always.

yes, the 8.1u1 is terrible. Everything keeps dropping back to desktop. For the people who couldn't figure out how to use the start screen, then maybe this will help them. My opinion is that this isn't helpful either. I was fine with 8.1 ON MY LAPTOP. I also like it on my tablet. The blackbar at the top is terrible. I want the desktop to close when I am not using it. The start screen should have been developed as the new desktop. Certain Apps close to the Desktop, which wasn't the case before. How is that helpful? I will concede that it took a bit of time to get used to Win8, but this feels like too many concessions backward on my laptop where my tablet is forward progress.

I liked Windows 8 and 8.1 just as it was. I hate the Title Bar on LiveTile apps. MS took a step backwards by conceding on this feature. I'm not in the 80's or have any desire to see something like a Mac Desktop Bar. Old....... Has anyone discovered how to slap dumb users upside the head from a desktop. Change is part of life and this was a move for the better. Also, I find that the title bar in the apps is an impediment when trying to close the Window via pull down. I hate that damned 'X' and the any app. Speaking of which, why do we even have a desktop? I never store things on the desktop not do I litter it with every shortcut available. Why would I need the startmenu? Just start typing the name of the program you want and, voila, it appears. Radical isn't it! I never used the Start Menu in either Vista or 7. Microsoft had it right. Welcome to the future complainers... when Apple removes the desktop you'll never hear the end of it....how wonderful it is that they created the 'Magicial' desktop free OS.

This new feature just annoys the **** out of me. I'd uninstall the update but I've read that you will not receive pertinent updates unless it's running 8.1 update 1. F**K. :devil:
