Disabling automatic snaped view on a tablet

Hello,

Windows 10, Anniversary update, on a NextBook tablet.
The email client (and many other apps) are opening links in default apps in snapped view (where the two apps are side by side).
While it is a nice feature, I'd like it to be manual and not automatic.
Any idea how to achieve that?
