Disappointing Xbox Music Update!! :(

Hey folks,
I just updated the recent Xbox Music Live Tile Update for Windows Phone!
At first time app worked fine but second time as soon as i opened the app all songs got disappeared :'( :x >_<
I m totally ruined now... I also didn't backup any of my songs or playlist :asleep: :grincry: :angry: :unhappy:
HELP ME SO THAT I CAN GAIN BACK ALL OF MY SONGS :"(
I M SO ******* UNHAPPY RIGHT NOW.... Hatred+ MS

Have they actually disappeared from your phone or just not in the music player? Have you checked?

I can't see the app deleting your songs. Have you tried a different music player?

Have you tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it?

Songs were on my SDcard storage :'(
I also thought that songs must have not synced properly but then i checked the SDCard storage from my Computer.
The songs weren't there ! :unhappy: :angry:

We can't uninstall system apps....and its of no use now all songs are gone totally ****ed up man! MS is killing me now -_-

Music is no longer a system app if you're on WP8.1. Are you on WP8.1?

Music is no longer a system app if you're on WP8.1. Are you on WP8.1?

That's really weird cause music app cannot delete the songs...

Have you tried checking songs through Files...

I know you have already checked in ur computer but still...give it a try...

Woops, my bad. You are correct.

Still as the post above has stated, there's no reason for the music files to be deleted so there's something else going on.

You can't. On 8.1 the music app isn't tied directly into the OS. Instead, it's a separate app, decoupled from the OS but still identified as a system app that you can't uninstall. That being said, you could always try soft resetting your phone to see if that alleviates any issues you may have. I've also never heard of the music app just randomly deleting music files before. Not sure how you're gonna fix this one!

The other option that if your songs were on the SD card you can always put that by itself into a computer and do a recovery on it.

I think may be somehow your SD card format.
Did you check other data in your SD Card.

It's very sad you loose your data.
Recently I also lost my porn collection.

Actually i've tried using files at first place before connecting my phone to PC.After seeing the plenty of storage on SDcard(i had nearly 600 songs)
i was shocked and was angry too..then i checked from my PC...the music folder was empty..whole songs disappeared some where or maybe formatted by Xbox music app -__-

Yes! I've checked the other data they are all good as new.
Only music folder gone empty.
mp3clan never heard about that..good site well i actually prefer Mixradio app for listening & downloading music.

Thankfully,I've got friends which often collects music from my database..
So they will be my saviour for this horrible day!
Still i also can't believe that Xbox Music app formatted my all music data on SDCard!? (dem feels ._.) MS should work more on that if they are seeing this POST!

Guys since this is about the latest Xbox update, I want to share something too
So basically this brings the live tile support so when I play the music the live is working of course but there is a bug or something. The song which I play has an artist background shown while in the app but I can't see that artist in the live tile only his name scrolling...
Any tips or what???
