Dissapointed again in Carriers and WP7

I only see droid adds anywhere. And MS cant figure out how droid has become #2 in such a short time? Also, Symbian was by far the world leader a few years ago but they have taken a dive as well. Apple does not need to advertise, they have plenty of pundits in every corner of the globe. Android is catching up to them in that aspect. The most fluid systems like RIM and WP7 and webOS are not advertising and their shares are dropping fast. Less than 5 years ago if you had a smartphone you had a BB. There was basically no other significant choices. Now, BB is almost insignificant. Amazing how fast the market shifts in technology fields.

If I wasnt a little geeky I would not even know what WP7 UI looked like. It is so much better looking than any other mobile OS in my mind and they just need to get it in front of the population.

Yeah, Moto has a nice new commercial for their new Droid Razr line up, and it's pretty much non stop Android ads all day. But MS is going to get started Sunday.

Nokia is pumping in 20 m pounds and Samsung 8 million pounds into upcoming WP adds also MS is starting on an expansive ad campaign touting the convergence/interoperability of all their products in their "ecosystem" including windows 8 etc.

Go in to all the verizon stores and ask about windows phones. Fill out comment cards asking for windows phones also. If all windows phone users on verizon and other carriers start doing so, they will start to get the idea.

This is a great idea. Also have in mind that since Microsofts vision on advertising is 'we don't care, its the carriers and OEMs problem to advertise if they want to sell phones' it's great to show the carriers that there is some demand.
