With lack of proper DYI tools I made this ugly hole in my bedside IKEA table and covered it with glass top so you can't actually see anything at all (well apart from a subtle black cross a made deliberately in a sheet of paper so that I know where to place the phone). It took 1 hour and works as expected! It's not my original idea but I thought some people may be inspired to create something similar! enjoy

I live with the damn phone during the day. Why on earth would people want to live with it at night too?

:winktongue:

That's great. Check out the gadget show.com as Jason done that 3 years ago and gives a step by step guide on getting the finished look

I rely on my phone as an alarm clock so I've got to have it right next to me - 5 minute snooze would not happen if it took my out of bed straight away :D

I wanted to do the same ad first but I decided to get the wireless standard and I use the glimbscreen as an alarm clock.

lol I just have mine under the bed's sheets, works admirably and faster than the one on my desk since USB tops at 500mah, and its a lot more comfortable also, could it be better? yes if it could automatically walk to the charger after I fall sleep and it slips through my hands haha
