Well i dropped my surface, from a sofa about 1.5 feet high on a marble floor and such a ridiculous fall left a crack on the bezel part of the glass right side of start button.
No problem in functionality
But this sucks ��
It's not even officially released in my country India, so no chance of a service.
Guess I'll have to live with it
But just a warning for you all folks, do not drop your surface from any height coz chances are it will crack.

Aah thanks, I feel I just hit a jackpot there.
Well what I really meant was that the Magnesium allow casing is a brainwash really. It's just for the looks not that it can provide any sort of damage prevention strength to it.

Dude, its marble.

Marble is really hard. Really, really really hard.

Marble will break most things you drop on it, especially things made of glass.

Also, try not to stab yourself with a knife or run yourself over with a bus. Probably not the best health choices.
