I have coffee each morning with my oatmeal. I use a coffee press and drink my coffee black.. probably a habit from my Navy days. I've used an electric coffee maker but it always seemed watered down, I prefer a coffee press so I can control the strength of the brew.
What's better than coffee? Cofee served in your bed! One doesn't need to go to the kitchen in those cold winter mornings. There's this British tea kettle/alarm clock device called a Teasmade. It's for tea generally but if you put some ground coffee instead of a tea bag the night before and set the clock for the morning you'd be woken up with the smell of freshly brewed coffee.
Oh yeah, cannot start the day without it. Before the covid19 while working in the office, I could not imagine a day without at least 5 coffees
But now I try to boil it down to 2 per day, compensating with some tea and hot cocoa.
I love my coffee and remember when I discovered I had heart issues and my cardiologist talked to me about my diet and we where on the same page until the "c" word (coffee) came up and I told him there was no negotiation on that issue, period. I mainly use my Keurig machine for coffee at home unless I am out and it's Dunkin Donuts coffee for me.
