Do you need certain amount of data to enjoy internet sharing?

Currently using Lumia 635 and it did come with internet sharing for Tmobile, but somehow I cant connect my PC or tablet with it. I am currently on 1gig throttled. Do I need to up that to 2 or 3 gigs in order to use internet sharing? It just keeps telling me "cant connect" even though the name is detected on my tablet.

Change the name or the password on the network and try again

If you're allowed tethering/internet sharing, the data plan size should not matter.
if you can turn it on you're golden, seems like the problem is something else though.

My DV8Pro usually says the same thing when I first connect to my phone, but it actually does connect and let me use the internet. I'd just ignore that and immediately open the browser.

And no, it doesn't matter if you have 1GB or 2GB.

I found out. I had a plan that didnt support it. But my family got the 10gb share plan. And it has it.
