Do you put a screen protector and a case on your Lumia 720?

2 days ago I recived my package with Nillkin Case and Screen Protector. Case quality is good, but some parts can be better protected (near usb port and headphone). The biggest issue is screen protector: dimensions are good, verry simply to mount, but its too sticky and easily grabs fingerprints (much more than gorilla glass on screen). When I go outside visibility is worse especially when there are fingerprints. Last week I tested 3MK Shield screen protector and was better than Nillkin.

i didnt try it outdoors because i work at late... Thats my only issue (fingerprints...) but without protector i was always cleaning the screen.

Do you have a link for that 3M Shield?

3MK is a company form Poland and I just bought in local store. I didn`t find this shield on ebay or amazon, only on allegro.pl which is Polish equivalent of eBay.

i also have a month older lumia 720 and it fell from approx. 5 feet and its screen was dreadfully broken. i feel sad and a little worry about the durability of the set, i mean its very cumbersome to deal in certain cases like in office you have a hell lot of things to care about and you dont want an addendum (cell) in your pocket. its not possible to handle a cell without any such small shocks, atleast when it is with you all the tym....

i just want to know how much its gonna cost? and as i talked to nokia care people they dont have screen available right now not the price either,, and looking at the design of the set,, esp. rise up screen from shell its not possible for me to handle it every tym and one more fall after getting repaired is not going to worth,,, so i asked nokia people they said they will buy my set with the screen damaged condition in 3k indian currency ,,,, any suggestion friends..

For mi the only complain about Lumia 720 design, is tha absence of a hole to insert a HandStrap (very useful to avoid thieves and accidentall falls)

Hi! I am also from the Philippines. I recently "upgraded" from a Galaxy Note II to a Lumia 720 (got the yellow one!). It was a hard decision for me to jump ship, but I needed a fresh experience. As for your question, I, personally, am a very cautious person. But, in this case, I don't really feel the need to use a screen protector (not because the 720 is cheaper :)) I just want it to look as slick as it is. However, I have a case on. It's just the clear TPU case, so the color is still seen. It does not add bulk to the device either. I missed my Note II a bit.. But am over it. I am enjoying my Lumia. ^^

Welcome to the club blacklumia =)

As for those who are concerned with the updates of a Lumia 720 without a screen protector and case,
I have been using a White glossy Lumia 720 for about 3 months now with no screen protector and case since day 1 and so far, I'm VERY HAPPY with the results.
I've been always putting it in my pocket when I'm on the go with nothing beside it.

My Lumia has no scratches on the screen, not even a minor one.
However, my glossy white casing has some scratches on its back. BUT, I really don't mind it because the polycarbonate material hides it VERY WELL. You wouldn't see any scratch at all if you would just look at the phone. You need that proper lighting and angle just to see them. So, the result is, it's like having a phone with no scratches becuase it doesn't expose itself atv all really.

yup, mine too (glossy white)
There are scratches on the back, but it is kinda hard to notice, so I don't think it is necessary to use a case unless you are careless and like to drop your phone any time any where.

I too got my screen damaged bt the touch as well as display are fine....wanna know how mch ths repair would cost....

i too had got the same situation and today i got my screen replaced it cost f*** 8995 indian rupees , started hating nokia,,

sir actually it fallen on a pointed or it has been fallen with much more height but i can guarantee you that i too have l720 and it has fallen fom 5 feet and still no scratch

I also bought a Lumia 720 White recently and bought Cubix Ultra Thin Rubberized Matte Hard Case Back Cover for: Amazon.in: Electronics , which is very nice first few days .. but since it is of matte finish and attracting a lot of dust and looking dirty .. so couple of questions .. is this case washable !! and about the Nillkon cases are there multiple varieties as I am reading thin case, hard case etc etc .. which one do you suggest ...

Hi. Yes. I want to protect my phone as its on contract. For 18 months so it has to last a while. P I tend to put phone in pocket which often has loose change or keys in. I opted for nice thick gel case that covers the edges and corners well. I use a screen protector definetly as i dont want it scratched. I found the screen protectors look to small but that is so they just cover the visible lit screen not the entire glass with curvature. It looks fine and i feel better with it on. I find the gel case hardly makes it any bigger as the phone is so thin any way and you dont even notice the screen protector. Well worth the added protection. I also found the phone very slippy in my hand and the gel just gives slightly better grip. Upto you.

I have also dropped my 720 from less than 24 inches. The result is a smashed screen and a bill for ?167.00 on a phone that costs ?240.00 There are no protective cases such as Otter Box available for the 720

Hi Everyone,

i purchased lumia720 three months back, recently a week back my phone slipped from my hand while walking on road, as i was taking it back a auto rickhsaw just passed on the phone, the tyre o the vehicle passed on the phone completely, i feared my phone was broken, but when i took it and checked it was in good condition not a single damage except a little dent over the edge of phone because of falling on road and scratch gaurd was open with dust and sand and other than that it was normal as usual.

i think this phone has a rough and tough/rigid body.and this was my true exp......!!!

Hi there!! I am with lumia 720 and since i applied 2 screen protectors but then i understood naked looks cool then SP's...
