Does Continuum supports VGA port on my HP monitor ?

Hello, my pc monitor doesn't have an hdmi port . It's given with a 15 pinned female port. I've an HDMI(female-female) extension cable.Can I use following female hdmi to male VGA converter? Will it work?

I have tested a generic usb c to vga adapter and with some projectors/monitors it worked, with some it didn't. Good luck
