Does facebook on W10M still sync contacts correctly?

Is anyone else having trouble getting Facebook birthdays to sync? I deleted the main Facebook app a while ago and decided to only use the Beta. I'm not sure when it happened, but I've lost all my birthdays in my calendar and even though I've reinstalled the normal FB app and synced both FB apps, the birthdays still don't show up in my mobile calendar.
