Does GDR2/Amber fix the duplicate songs and photos problem

In my case it start to triplicate the photos, but songs it has been fixed!

My friend's 820 has Amber, and the problem recently appeared again for him. He had 4 copies of each photo :| He formatted his SD and now everything's fine.

It gives me wrong art work for album covers. I also have duplicates in my history. I have a lumia 1020.

I've been really patient with this phone, but now i'm really fed up! I thought the GDR2 update fixed the duplicate songs, but now a few weeks after the GDR2 update, im getting duplicate songs again! I've made no changes to the phone (all special settings in music app are turned off), or my music app in windows 8 all extra settings are turned off. Even my MPAtool app is going haywire and losing album and band art. I really wish I had just spent the extra $50 and went with android.
