does MHL micro to HDMI operates on Nokia Lumia 1020?

I was told by a Radio Shack salesperson that their mhl to hdmi adapter will work fine on my windows phone/nokia lunia 1020. I am interested in doing everything I do on my phone on a larger and bigger tv screen. Is this possible? Can I do that?

Nope, it won't work. DLNA works though if your TV supports it
