Does Microsoft take challenges

Apple has launched slightly improved hardwares to their isheep(excuse my language). And people will buy these stuffs like they could eat 'em sleep on 'em and probably wear them.
My question is does Microsoft ever learn anything from Apple or Google..? Cos it seems everything in the world of Microsoft takes forever to be pulled off. ..prrft
