Does portico fix the app update issue?

It would be nice if they could also add an option like the store in Windows 8 where you can "check for updates"

I've not had any problem seeing store updates on my 8x, what device do you have?

Because your 8X is working fine, doesn't mean other people's 8Xs, or any WP8 device for that matter; are not having the issue.....
Its a bug that affects many but not all!
My wife's 820 works fine, but my 920 doesn't.

We just need MS to resolve it!

Did you reboot the phone by holding vol down % power button
or power off the phone and hold vol down& power button to hard reset the phone?

Did a soft reset with vol down, but I unpinned the store first & cleared IE history per WinPhoneSupport

After knowing that one of my apps has an update, I waited for it to show up on the live tile and after about 2 days it showed up, along with an update for another app. So I guess it seems to work ...

Follow the unpin->del IE history->Power + Vol Down Restart -> Pin again

It works again after few hours

I've done this pre-portico and it didn't work....
I was asking if this is fixed POST portico, to decide whether to flash the new EE Portico FW
