Does the Band 2 have simple voice control?

Band 2 simple voice control

Does Band 2 have any simple voice controls, not Cortana integration. But things like "Set a timer for 5 minutes" on the band itself? I haven't been able to figure it out, but thought I'd ask anyway.

No.

It doesn't have that kind of processing power on its own. Interpreting speech takes a lot of power. Even Cortana on your phone needs the cloud support of Microsoft Servers to accomplish Voice Command.

That's why it is best paired with a device.
