Does the Health app work with activity trackers and heart rate monitors other than the Band series?

The Microsoft Health app.
My phone is a Windows 10 Mobile phone but it does not have SensorCore. I'm thinking about getting a waterproof chest?strap Bluetooth heart rate monitor and a waterproof fitness tracking watch or band. The Microsoft Band series can't be used with chest?strap heart rate monitors and isn't waterproof.
