i installed it on my Lumia 925 and all i get when unlocking is a blank screen and then it reverts back to the original lockscreen, like it has malfunctioned. . .. i have thelumia cyan software, and it isnt the developer preview edition

No it doesn't require sensorcore, I have it installed on my L1020 and it's working well. However I have seen a few posts like yours with "blank screen"

I only requires it for the Activity tracker portion of the data. I have it installed on my 925 and it works without a hitch. It just doesn't display the activity tracker info.
