Does wireless charging work through a case?

I like the idea of wireless charging, but will it work through the typical flip case which I have on my phone?

And does anyone know if the cheap pads on Ebay are any good compared to an OEM charger?

Thanks

A case is no problem as long as it does not have a metal plate or is extreme thick (>0.5 cm).

Basically every QI certified chargers can be used.
With my OEM charger the charging stops if the battery is full. But if I keep the phone on the charger it will start charging again if the battery drains. So in the morning it is always 100%.
With some non OEM chargers the "charging again" will not happen. So in the morning it is less then 100%.
(They charge to 100% then the charging stops and the charging will not automatically start again)

One tip with a bedside charger is to take the phone off the charger when the alarm goes off in the morning then put it straight back on. That will top it back up to 100% while you SS&S.
