Does your compass become un-calibrated often?

Pretty much every time I try to use anything with the compass (maps in compass view, flashlight with compass in it, etc) I have to re-calibrate it. Sometimes multiple times.
I've never had a phone that used it, is that standard? Or do I have a bum phone? OR is that because I am running the 8.1 preview?

Any ideas?

It's happening every time to me too. I am using 925 on 8.1 :/

All the time!! And i think it does it since WP8.

I assumed it was the norm since I hardly use the compass and the phone seems to only use it on demand

Yep, almost always on my Icon with 8.1. I hardly ever use the compass though.

Yes, me too. But like Dreamspell, I don't use it that much.
