Does your surface device remember your pen pressure setting?

So, in the surface app, you can set the pen pressure sensitivity on a sliding scale from1 to 10. I like mine at 4 and the default is 7. It feels like every other time I go to use OneNote (which I use daily) its back at 7 and I have to set it to 4 again. I was wondering if this is a bug with everyone's device, or perhaps I should perform some kind of software repair on mine. Also, perhaps this is only a SP17 issue, and not an SP6 issue? What's your experience?
