And the news? Effin a. If rumors be true, then a quad core 4.7" waterproof monster is coming soon. Fandroids are gonna be hatin'.

The title and the conclusion of your post seem contradictory. Are you done or not? You seen a bit excited but can't tell... I just love seeing how Apple back tracks on everything they say they do for us the customer in their walled garden. I instantly thought about the commercial that shows how the thumb can teach the while of the screen on the 4" iPhone. It was "perfection". So what is 4.7"? Imperfection? Pretty in a parallel universe? **** Jonny Ives - I'm out. * drops mic*

This is pretty much mentality of every ****** of each platform :

Fandroids :
4.0 - hardware acceleration lag is gone !
4.1 - project butter and lag is gone ! We don't need gamecenter or any integration ! We don't need imessage or any service like that !
4.3 - Trim support and lag is gone ! Hangouts is ultimate thing ! its cross platform !
4.4 - it needs less resources and "Project Svelt".......lag is gone really this time ! We have Google Play Games now ! (which is just like xbox or gamecenter)

WP fanboys :
WP 7.5 - We don't need dual cores or quad cores , single core is enough. No need many apps , few are enough.
We don't need SD cards too ! We have skydrive !

WP 8 - we don't need 1080p screens and we don't need notification center ,tiles are enough ! It has all the necessary apps !

GDR2 - its the next big thing , wait for it !
Wait for GDR3.......Its the next big thing ! GDR2 isn't the ultimate
After GDR3 comes - Wait for WP 8.1 !

WP 8.1 - waiting for responses..........

Apple fanboys :

iPhone 4 - it's an awesome phone and a jewel (but can't make phone calls and it's a jewel to be stored in a safe)
3.5 inch screen is perfect and 2:3 screen ratio is perfect !
We don't need notification center ! Badges are enough ! Multitasking is perfect ! No need real multitasking !

iPhone 4s - this year iphone will kill everything but 5 didn't come , iPhone 4s came ! Everyone disappointed and "next iPhone will rock"
Siri is the ultimate thing and it kills everything ! (If you don't believe me , see this)

We don't need LTE ............. HSPA is perfect !

iPhone 5 - phone scuffs and lens flare and phone bends in pockets
Phil Schiller - it's normal (his actual response !)
4-inch screen is perfect ! 16:9 ratio is perfect
We don't need shortcut menu for wifi,bt etc.
We don't need live wallpapers !
We don't need widgets ! (calendar is widget and clock app in iOS 7 is a widget)

iPhone 5s - It's 2014 and Touch ID is perfect , We have true multitasking in iOS 7 ! We have control center to toggle things ! Apple did it perfectly again !
We also have live wallpapers now !

iPhone still doesn't have a HD display , no swipe keyboard and iOS 7 .......wait for iOS 8 ! Next iPhone will dethrone everything ! iWatch is coming ! iPhone will come in larger screen !!

EDIT : I didn't write Apple's part correctly because I was in a hurry yesterday and also tweaked some parts

I follow tech news pretty regularly and I'm kinda getting irritated on the sheer number of "speculations" of what the iphone 6 is rumored to have. Prime example: Pocketnow -great site, but they report on EVERY little rumor about the iPhone (I noticed its the authors who will follow Apple to the ends of the Earth).

It's not just that...download Geekbyte from the store and you'll notice that 3-4 months before any iPhone release many tech sites go crazy in their reporting. An article such as today reporting 4.7" and 5.5" cases for the iPhone 6 have appeared online...only that this isn't any relevant news since case manufacturers don't know anymore information about the iPhone 6 than the general public and loosely base their case modeling from "speculation and rumors" alone.

Anyway...whatever, this is what I've noticed the past month or so. It'll be interesting to see what the iPhone 6 actually does come with and see how many of these rumors are actually true or not.

It'll come with the latest A# processor that is 20% better than the previous SoC, so games look that much better, and the starting price is $599 for the least amount of storage.

Just like every other release, lol.
