Don't reset your band unless you want to brick it

Found this out the hard way today unfortunately. Had errors while syncing my band to my Lumia 950 so decided to reset the band and pair anew. The app wasn't having it so I tried to reinstall the app, but it isn't listed anymore, so that's gone.

Now there's no way for me to complete setup for the band whatsoever, which is a real shame. Even if there's no Microsoft Health backend I really hoped that they'd at least leave up some way of completing first-time setup in some basic form, even just as a watch and timer.

But I guess that's that.

I got very frustrated when Microsoft shut down their health dashboard even before May 31st was over. I decided to reset my Band before midnight on that day but was shocked to find out I bricked my device just because MS pulled the plug before the day ends. I really hope there is a way to complete the setup offline.
