may seem like a crazy question, but sometimes i have to soft reset the device when it has frozen or become unresponsive. and to me, it was a stupid idea for htc/att to design their battery cover in such a way where you actually have to pull the stylus, then take off the cover just to reset it.

question is, has anyone out there drilled or though of drilling a hole in their tilt 2 case to give them access to quick resets? i've really been eying this lately, and i'm really thinking about doing it this weekend.

I have heard in some of the other forums about doing that as well as dying their case with rit dye (black)

yeah somebody has and they've painted the case and everything. I believe if you head over to Pocketnow.com and search something about that, it will pull up the article they posted about the guy that did that. Hope that helps.

If I had an extra cover I would try it but I am worried about the cover cracking when drilled. If you try it let me know how it goes.
