Drop down Menu Blank Windows 10 Mobile build 10149 on Lumia 720

Please see attached file. I'm unable to see any options in the drop down menu. Have tried hard reset, soft reset and have searched for solutions. Anyone with a solution or facing similar problems? I'm on the Windows 10 Mobile build 10149 on Lumia 720.

Perhaps you should use the Recovery Tool and install a clean copy of 8.1, then install 10 on top of that?

Also does the dark theme help?

Stuck with the Dark theme. But better than not having things visible.
